Site Design & Development Process: Planning, Design, Production, and Maintenence
1.We start with a no-fee, no-obligation initial consultation (by phone, appointment and/or e-mail) outlining the scope of the proposed website.
We strongly recommend that clients do a bit of homework before the initial consultation. At the initial consultation we usually ask the client for the following information:
• a general overview of the site
• the target audience
• goals for the site
• any special content or programming needs that client may have
• design preferences
• an idea of the images to include on site
• a proposed deadline
• client's ongoing maintenance preferences
2. Clients receive a written proposal outlining the estimated steps and fees for the site design. Once the proposal is accepted a contract will be signed.
3. Client provides site content and/or designer creates site content as per agreement
4. A live draft of the website is provided to client for feedback.
5. Changes are made to the draft, and the final website is uploaded to host.
7. Text updates to existing web pages may be sent by email, fax or mail.
